The Company

Officeteam is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager for an engineering firm in the Derbyshire area. The business is one of the leading manufacturers in it’s field and due to its recent success, is currently going through a process of expansion. The business prides itself on values and they ensure that the best standards are adhered to without compromise for the client.

The Role

Officeteam is recruiting for a motivated, success driven Marketing Manager for this recently created role who will be able to move the team forward.

You must be able to prove that you are results orientated and be able to derive solutions to problems that will occur and be able to motivate the team and other managers in order to be able to produce results. The role will be reporting directly into the Managing Director and is to start as soon as possible.

The client is looking for someone with a marketing background within engineering and will not consider applicants that do not have this experience as it is essential to the role for someone to be able to move into the role and be up and running as soon as possible.

You will be required to ensure that all training needs are met for your team and you will be responsible for the day to day running of the department. You will also need to implement disciplinary and grievance procedures. The main responsibilities are to manage and co-ordinate all marketing and advertising activities as well as conducting market research to determine the future needs for products within the business. You will need to implement marketing plans for both new and existing products and be able to analyse information on competitors as well as the current market conditions to ensure that you are creating the right image for the business.

You must also be able to show that have set budgets and worked towards them in the past.

Salary & Benefits

The role is paying in the region of £45,000 for an immediate start.
